Our Smoothy Singles are non-superwash and are dyed with the utmost care. Due to the nature of this yarn, the dyed threads may stick to each other slightly, so make sure to wind them carefully.

To keep your creation in the best shape, always handwash it in cold/lukewarm water with an appropriate detergent. Wash it separately the first time, as some residual dye may still be present in the yarn. All dyes are fixed, so don’t worry when seeing residual dye in the water.

All our fibers and yarns are hand-dyed by us in a smoke-free environment using professional acid dyes, and they are completely mulesing-free.

Lastly, your display may show the colors slightly differently from the actual yarn. Additionally, we dye in small quantities at a time, so there may be variations between items of the same color scheme. Much like spinning and knitting, dyeing is a unique manual process! To avoid pooling and visible differences in your work, you can alternate between two skeins.
